Cocktail is beverages that are popular in American. There are lots of story behind the invention of cocktail, but till now, no one knows the exact story. The most popular story behind cocktail is Betsy Flanagan serve drink with cock tail in a glass for France soldier, but then it was known that Betsy Flanagan is just a fiction story inside the spy written by James Fenimore Cooper.
Other story comes from New Orleans, Antoine Amedie Peychaud made mixed of bit drink with alcohol and served it in egg cup (in france = coquetier). It was meant for healing stomach disease. Later the word coquetier are familiar with cocktail.
